In addition to a passion for painting flowers, Judy has a love for beautiful orchids. She has been a collector for over 10 years and her favorite orchids are the Lady Slipper and Doritaenopsis (an inter-generic hybrid between orchid Doritis and Phalaenopsis - Dtps.). She loves the longevity of the blooms that allow her to capture their beauty in paint. One of her favorites that she painted, Dtps. Jiuhbao Red Rose x Dtps.Taisuco Happyfire, won Best of Show at the VOS show in 2014. It is pictured to your left.
