This old fashioned cactus belonged to my grandmother, Wilentina Dean Knibb Cochrane. She died in 1971. It thrives on neglect. It blooms after Christmas each year. My grandmother would be thrilled to know that her granddaughter still has it. The image is in the story DVD of my father’s family as he told it to me when he was age 100. He will be 103 soon! The original watercolor is on hand torn Fabriano Artistico 300 lb. paper and is not for sale.
