A hothouse plant in winter, but a glorious outdoor plant on a patio on a hot summer day. This hibiscus was painted in watercolor with a frontal view and reverse blossom. Also, a dried up bud scale and a yellowing leaf shows the aging of the plant. This watercolor is painted on Fabriano Artistico 300 lb. paper. The original is available for $3,000.
